Meet Chris and Mindy

Your HRL founders weren’t always this handy.

When we set out to make a career out of purchasing and renovating real estate, we quickly realized how much our reliance on professional contractors cost us money and slowed us down.

After years of trade school, trial and error, and more than one expensive mistake, we figured out what was missing: a place where everyday people could get to know the systems in their home and learn by actually putting their hands on tools and hardware. Because it didn’t already exist, we decided to build it.

Home Repair Lab was created to serve as a space where everyone feels welcome to ask questions, gain skills, and become an informed, confident homeowner.

There’s a “handy” person inside all of us. We can’t wait to help you discover yours.
